My first litter was in 2004, I have only really bred when I want a puppy. My early attempts at showing in the naughties were scuppered by my children who got very bored and refused to come with me and were too young to leave home alone, thus 2026 Crufts was a total celebration, as not only did I take 3 dogs of my breeding, but I persuaded my daughter to join us too! We had a great time, no placings and definitely took the best dogs home.
Puppies are born and reared in the house, plenty of space for outdoor play, weather permitting. Roomy garage for wet play. All of my dogs see their time out with me, no one is moved on. I raw feed and keep chemical use to a minimum, eg worm count rather than blindly worming without checking.
I manage to stay in touch with most of my puppies and I’m always guaranteed a lovely welcome when we catch up
