Crufts 2025 – Exhibitor Guide
Here’s a helpful list of things to remember when attending Crufts, especially for first-time visitors or anyone who might need a reminder!
For you
You may want to pack the following:
- Crufts Exhibitor Information & Passes – Be sure to download your entry pass, extra helper pass, exit pass, and catalogue slip. If you entered by post, these will be sent to you.
- Crufts Exhibitor Parking – For the best parking rates, remember to pay in advance on the NEC website.
- Show Ring Outfit – It’s a good idea to pack your show ring outfit separately to keep it clean and ready.
- Comfy Shoes – You’ll be on your feet for a long day, so comfortable shoes are a must!
- Waterproof Clothing – You can’t always trust the good old British weather, so be sure to pack a waterproof coat just in case.
- Ring Number Holder/Clip – Avoid the stress of trying to buy or borrow one before your class—bring one with you!
- Food & Snacks – Queues for food can get long, so it’s wise to bring your own snacks to keep you going.
- Drinks – Stay hydrated throughout the day. The halls can get quite warm, so keep a drink handy.
- Wet Wipes – A must-have for cleaning up after your dog or yourself—useful for many situations!
- Foldable Chair – A foldable chair is perfect for sitting next to your bench with your dog during breaks.
- Trolley – A trolley makes it easy to transport your gear around the event.
- Phone & Charger – You’ll likely be snapping photos and videos all day, so be sure to charge your phone beforehand and bring a charger in case you need it.
- Bank Card & Cash – It’s always helpful to carry both for ease of payment throughout the event.
For your dog
You may want to pack the following:
- Show Bag – It’s helpful to have a separate bag for all your dog’s essentials.
- Grooming Brushes – Bring all the brushes you might need to give your dog the perfect finishing touch before stepping into the ring.
- Show Leads – Always pack a spare show lead, just in case.
- Regular Collar/Harness & Lead – You’ll need these for when your dog isn’t in the ring
- Water Bowl & Water– Make sure your dog has its own water bowl and a refillable bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day.
- Food – If your dog will miss its regular mealtimes, pack some food for the show.
- Bait & Bait Bag – Prepare your bait the night before and pack it in your bait bag. Don’t forget to grab it from the fridge in the morning!
- Poop Bags – Because you’re a responsible dog owner, always have poop bags on hand.
- Towel – Bring a towel to clean your dog’s paws if they get wet or muddy.
- Crate (or Benching Chain) If you use a crate or benching chain, make sure to bring one to keep them secure.
- ID for Crate – If you’re taking a crate, don’t forget to include an ID card with your name and phone number. These are KC rules.
- Bedding (Blankets, Bed) – Pack a blanket or some bedding for your dog’s bench to ensure they’re comfortable when not in the ring.
- First Aid Kit – Accidents can happen, so having a basic first aid kit is always a good idea.
- Waterproof Clothing – You can’t trust British weather, so pack a waterproof coat or even a onesie to stay dry!
Best of luck, enjoy every moment, and always remember, you’re taking home the best dog, no matter the outcome.
