Situated in The Cotswolds, the Balsamina affix was taken out when we were expecting our first litter.

I was lucky enough to buy Isla ( Sh Ch. Trewater Busy Lizzie at Balsamina) from Jane Clark in 2016. Since I was a little girl I would watch Crufts and hoped one day I would make it to Crufts with my very own golden retriever (I dreamt big!).

Well, Isla has certainly helped me fulfil those dreams! She became a Show Champion in October 2024, with 3 CC’s and 6 RCC’s to date.

In November 2020, we welcomed the arrival of her first litter. Isla produced two Junior Warrant winners. I kept a girl, Binky (Balsamina Bellini JW) who has won a RCC.

Cheryl Bawden MBE (Darthill) bought a male puppy called Bert (Sh Ch. Balsamina Beachcomber at Darthill JW) and he has 6 CC’s and 11 RCC’S.

I am qualified to judge the breed at Open Show level.
