Our kennel Fhairmhor (pronounced Fire more) was established in the 1970's by my Grandparents Isabel and Wattie Blyth.

I grew up with goldens around the house and in 1993 when I was 9 years old, my first dog Fhairmhor Stormtrooper was born.

In 1994, I started showing Trooper in both handling and breed classes. Over the years we were consistently placed and Trooper gained his stud book number and I was Runner Up - Top Scottish Junior Handler of the Year in 1999.

In 2015 after some time out of the ring, we brought home Luna (Rigerin Spanish Dreams at Fhairmhor). She qualified for Crufts 2017 at her first show and had success with BOB, Group placings and RBIS at Open Shows throughout her show career. In 2018, she produced a beautiful litter with Sh Ch Stanroph Still on Top at Ponfeigh, our first Fhairmhor litter for a number of years.

Finlay (Fhairmhor Haud Yer Wheesht at Rigerin) (co-owned with Cathy McShane) has made us so proud by winning becoming a Show Champion in 2024.
His litter sister Shandi (Fhairmhor Wee Midden at Strathain) (handled my myself, owned by Evelynne Hain) achieved her stud book number in 2022.

I have been judging Goldens at Open show level since 1999 and am currently at JCF Level 2.
